United Way of Spokane County works to create the future we all want to see – a more educated, prosperous and healthy community. Our work is focused on eliminating inequities in education, income and health experienced by low income and diverse populations.
Creating pathways out of poverty, stabilizing families, supporting social and emotional health, and achieving educational success are all critical for lasting change. We create positive community change by collaborating with other, building capacity, coordinating community efforts and investing in programs to get things done.

Who we help
United Way agencies feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, empower victims of sexual assault and domestic violence, help children stay in school and allow them to enjoy some of the traditions of childhood – scouting, camp and after-school club activities.

- $10/pay period keeps an at-risk youth on track to graduate
- $20/pay period reaches abused teens and street youth with trauma counseling and educational support/li>
