Your Informed Choice

As you may know, SEIU 1199NW has filed a petition with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) to represent caregivers at Providence Hospice and Home Care of Snohomish County's inpatient care center. 

This means you will be provided with the opportunity to choose through a secret ballot election on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 whether or not you want SEIU 1199NW to represent you in the workplace. This site has been developed to help you make an informed choice as to whether you want to be represented by a union. New information and answers to questions will be added as they become available, so please check back periodically.

Election Day

Date: Wednesday, May 11, 2016 (two voting sessions)

Hours: 7 to 8 a.m.

It is very important that every caregiver make their voice heard and vote on May 11. The election outcome is based on a simple majority vote, if you do not vote you will be letting others decide representation for you.
