For Patients

The Providence Internal Medicine Residency Clinic offers primary care to under-served or unassigned patients in the general Spokane area. Medical residency students provide care under the supervision of full-time faculty from the University of Washington School of Medicine. Our clinic is conveniently located a block north of Sacred Heart Medical Center.

What is Internal Medicine?

Internal medicine doctors – also called “internists” – specialize in treating adult patients. They don’t deliver babies or do surgery. They are experts in diagnosing and treating routine and complex health issues in adults.

  • Work injury visits
  • Management of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension or COPD
