Certifications and Training
Jessica is currently taking classes from the North American Institute of Manual Therapy in pursuit to become a Certified Manual Physical Therapist.
Jessica has 20 years of ballet training as well as 4 years of experience dancing with the University of Idaho dance program. She has a special interest in prevention and rehabilitation of dance related injuries and has taught courses in dance injury prevention and rehabilitation for the American College Dance Festival.
Other interests include enjoying the great outdoors by camping, hiking, and kayaking and spending time with my husband Corey.
My treatment approach is a combination of manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercise. I believe patient education plays a tremendous role in a successful recovery. I make great efforts to make sure that each patient understands his or her physical dysfunction and responsibilities to achieve a positive outcome.
