Physicians at the Providence Regional Cancer Center work as a team to ensure you receive the best possible care. For many people, a medical oncologist will serve as their main cancer doctor. All of our medical oncologists are board-certified, which means they have passed rigorous training and testing to become experts in this specialty. As a patient, you'll typically see them at their clinic, Providence Western Washington Oncology.
Radiation therapy and surgery may also be part of your treatment plan. We also have skilled surgeons from many different specialties are available to perform surgery should you need it.
Other Members of Your Cancer Care Team
During your treatment, a variety of cancer experts may provide care along with your doctors. These include oncology-certified registered nurses and other health-care providers who have undergone specialized training in cancer care.
