Pillars4Life is a no-cost evidence-based program that helps you to take your life back from cancer. This ten-session, online/phone, coping skills training course is designed to help you:
- improve your quality of life by becoming an empowered patient/caregiver;
- feel better physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually;
- integrate powerful self-care practices into your daily life; and
- connect to a community of patients/caregivers at various stages of cancer, dedicated to living fully in the face of cancer, all from the comfort of your own home!
The core curriculum of Pillars4Life, The Seven Pillars of Personal Recovery™, has been proven in a study at the Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center to enhance the quality-of-life of cancer patients across a range of symptoms, including distress, despair, helplessness, hopelessness and fatigue.
This program normally costs $399, but it is available to you - as a cancer survivor or caregiver - FREE, courtesy of The LIVESTRONG Foundation.
