Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment
The Providence St. Mary Regional Cancer Center provides a full range of diagnosis and treatment options, including surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and immunotherapy. In addition, you also will have access to other supportive services, including nutritional counseling, cancer rehabilitation, spiritual support, speech and language pathology, and edema and lymphedema management.
The Providence St. Mary Regional Cancer Center offers Cancer Research for cancers including breast cancer, lymphoma, non-small cell lung cancer, prostate cancer, sarcoma, gastrointestinal, gynecological cancer, leukemia, and small-cell lung cancer. Generally, if a patient at Providence St. Mary Regional Cancer Center qualifies, a member of the care team will discuss the option with him or her. But patients also are welcome to bring up the possibility with their physicians.
Cancer is a complex disease and requires a high-functioning, diverse team of specialists. Our oncologists and doctors from various specialties work together as a team to coordinate the right cancer diagnosis, ensuring patients receive the best treatment them. Treatment may include radiation therapy, chemotherapy and collaboration with your surgical team.
