Gait and Running Analysis

Runners of any level may be seen for comprehensive analysis for preventing and treating injuries as well as for improving running technique and efficacy. Our physical therapy running experts have a combined 35+ years of experience with Providence and have had extensive training in Running Biomechanical Analysis. Our physical therapists will first review with you your running history and goals. Your running analysis will then include a comprehensive evaluation of your flexibility, strength, and stability. Through running video analysis we can work with you on your running technique to help minimize and prevent injury as well as improve efficiency of your running. We will provide corrective exercise prescription tailored to your needs. After analysis of your foot structure we will provide shoe and orthotic choices that are best suited for you.
