Providence Medical Group Neurosurgery surgeons are highly trained and have access to some of the region’s best technology and facilities, and collaborate with a network of other specialists, therapists and medical professionals. This provides patients with a full spectrum of care, from diagnosis through treatment and recovery.
Our highly trained, experienced neurosurgeons have access to the latest imaging and diagnostic equipment, surgical suites and treatment facilities.
We treat brain and peripheral nerve disorders, and back and neck pain and injuries including herniated disks, stenosis, degenerative disk disease, spinal deformities, spinal tumors, spinal infections, vascular malformations, multiple sclerosis and other spinal inflammatory diseases, spinal instability, spinal fractures, scoliosis, spinal cord injuries and others.
The neurosurgeons request that your primary care physician orders advanced imaging (MRI, CT, CT Myelogram) within 1 year of the referral. A Dexa scan is also recommended if you are at risk for osteoporosis. The imaging will be reviewed by a neurosurgeon who will provide recommendations to your primary care physician or ask that an appointment be scheduled.
Your initial appointment will include a physical examination for which you will dress down to your underclothes and a gown. It is requested that you please wear underclothing to the appointment.
