The Mount Carmel Hospital Foundation formed in 1977 to assist, encourage, promote and advance the care, treatment and rehabilitation of sick, afflicted, infirm and injured persons … particularly in our own community.
Since its inception, the Foundation's efforts have raised funds to support many additions to the hospital by approaching individuals, corporations, private foundations, and other institutions as well as by sponsoring fundraising events such as our yearly “Partners in Health” golf tournament. A volunteer board of trustees from the community governs the Foundation.
