Become a Volunteer

Gift shop volunteers

Volunteers are always welcome in our two unique gift shops on the Pacific and Colby campuses of Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. They are a great place to learn new skills while working for a very worthy cause. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older, no prior experience required. To be a volunteer, you'll need to complete a brief application and attend an orientation provided by Providence Regional's Volunteer Services staff.

As a gift shop volunteer, you'll greet and assist customers, stock gift items, handle transactions and provide a friendly place to shop. All profits from the gift shops benefit programs supported by Providence General Children’s Association.

For more information and a brochure about volunteering, send an email to Maureen Welly.

Camp PROV volunteersCampProv3

At Camp PROV, you'll perform a variety of support activities to special needs children ages 2-10 and their siblings at a day camp located at Forest Park in Everett. You'll help with swimming, art projects, reading, preparing food and singing. A one-week minimum commitment is required.

Visit Volunteer Opportunities for more details.

Providence General Children’s Association Guilds

Providence General Children’s Association is supported by several guilds who meet and raise funds to further the mission and goals of our organization.

Some guilds meet on a regular basis while others get together just for seasonal social events and fundraising activities such as See’s Candy sales, Bingo Community Night, Whidbey Island's Bunko Party and Girl's Night Out, poinsettia sales, and the Poker Walk, just to name a few!

To find out more about joining a guild or starting one of your own with neighbors and friends, email Guild Liaison, Susie Black.
