General Questions

Why should I give?

As the largest private employer in Thurston and Lewis Counties, Providence employees can make a tremendous impact!

Every gift counts. Your gift combined with that of your friends, neighbors and co-workers truly makes a difference in our community.

Support of the campaign and the belief in the mission of the Sisters of Providence goes a long way in helping to improve lives throughout our local communities.

“I’ve needed help myself before. It’s reassuring to know my co-workers at Providence care, and I like to pay that forward.”

How does payroll deduction work? Can I change my pledge at any point in time?

Employees who donate through payroll deductions can give on an on-going basis, avoiding the hassle of returning paperwork each year. Your contribution is taken out of each paycheck until you ask us to make a change. You can change or cancel your payroll deduction at any time.

Where can I turn in my completed form?

Providence employees may return forms to either the Foundation at Providence St. Peter Hospital or Providence Centralia Hospital or in the postage paid return envelope that is provided in your Employee Giving Campaign packet.

How much of my dollar goes to the program or service provided?

100% of your gift to Providence Foundations goes to the program(s) designated. If you donate to a qualified 501(c)3 organization through United Way, approximately 83-85% of your gift goes to the program(s) designated.
