People diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor or dystonia often experience debilitating tremors. Fortunately, a procedure called Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), performed at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, can provide people with Parkinson’s a new lease on life.
Learn more about this procedure from Jonathan D. Carlson, MD, PhD; Providence Inland Neurosurgery and Spine Associates. Dr. Carlson is a stereotactic-trained functional neurosurgeon with a medical degree from Loma Linda University, and a PhD in Physiology.
Additional DBS medication and treatment information will be presented by Spokane Neurologist Jason Aldred, MD and Jamie Mark, ARNP — both of Northwest Neurological.
Free. Refreshments will be served. Free garage parking on 9th Avenue. Please RSVP by using the registration form below.
