Newborn Care & Infant CPR Class

These classes are part of the six-week Prepared ChildĀ­birth series, and are a perfect refresher for experienced parents, grandparents and others who wish to know more about taking care of today’s newborn.

Topics covered include swaddling, comforting, diapering and feeding your baby, normal newborn characteristics, infant safety, infant CPR and knowing when to call your pediatrician.

Directions to the Providence Room

Enter through the 7th Avenue door, beneath the drive through drop-off area. Go down the stairs, and the Providence Room is down the short hallway to the right.

You may also enter through the main hospital entrance, take the elevator down to Level I, and follow signs to the cafeteria. The Providence Room will be after the cafeteria, and down the short hallway to the left.
