Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

Did not follow up with plan discussed at appointment after lab results were in. I called to discuss my concern - no call back - when I did get a call back it was as if I didn't call and they were just telling me the results.

Great doctor. Lots of issues with office staff. We shared with doctor that if this practice was not the only gave in town. We would go elsewhere.

Very thorough.

My 12 YO son has been sick with GI issues for a month including a hospital stay for 4 days. We were scheduled to see Dr [...] on [...] but I called to see if we could get in sooner. I felt luck to get into a cancellation with this provider sooner. I was hopeful that we were finally going to get the help we needed. Instead, we with the most arrogant, non-concerned, rude, antagonistic provider I've ever seen. He didn't listen to me, argued with me, didn't provide a physical exam of my son, and ordered a procedure without any explanation. When I asked what I should do to help my son while we waited a week for the procedure he said, "I just met you, I can't cure him in one day." Then he said,"I get mom's in here all the time trying to get narcotics for their kids.". I never even mentioned pain or medications. My son has not even had a Tylenol for this condition. I'm in the medical field myself and understand the difficulties that providers face but this behavior was uncalled for and unprofessional. I would expect someone that wanted to work with pediatrics would have compassion and at least a decent bedside manner. I was very disappointed and will not see this provider again. I'm thankful for Dr [...] taking over. I have never written a poor review on a provider before and am a person that gets along with people or can at least deal with most behavior. This visit was bizarre.

He's good

Provider stated opposite information as our PCP which leaves me the mom trying to figure out which to follow. He also just seemed to dispute that anything was wrong and gave very little in how to actually help my son

we call in and need an answer regarding medication quickly, from a nurse, sometimes it takes 2-4 days. must be persistent . that can be frustrating

The staff were all very nice. The doctor was very kind. However, his recommendation to bump up the amount of [...] my son is on and take it indefinitely if needed does not help us find answers about WHY he is going through what he's going through.

I was super impressed with the doctor. He made my daughter feel safe and comfortable and important. He got her laughing but listened carefully to her experience. Then he listened to mine (her mom). He seemed very knowledgeable but also willing to hear our concerns and made sure we were comfortable with his recommendation. Very impressed.

Receptionist - [...] - is consistently rude when answering calls & dealing with patients & nurses calling on patient behalf.

Only issue was the 1/2 hour check-in time prior to appointment time. We didn't know about that and hadn't asked for that extra time off from work for appointment. I'm not completely sure if it was on the paperwork filled out for the appointment.

Dr. Abou-Harb was right on point. His staff is a little - Short-handed and he told us that new people.

Dr Abpu Harb has been one of my daughter's many specialists. I can always count on him to help me find answers. He has really taken the time to get to know my daughter. He is one of the doctors I rely on most.
