Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

I am still nervous as she could not tell me if I had cancer or not, until she did the hysterectomy; however she is very kind and informative. I trust her.

I have recommended Dr. BonDurant to others. I could not be happier with her expertise in her field, the respect she shows for her patients, and the TLC she provides during the process. A visit to her office is a loving event. Everyone there is competent in their job & takes the time to show they truly care. Much appreciated.

I think Dr. Bondurant is one of the best doctors I've ever had. The only bad experience is that I had [...] surgery in August. Although I understood the surgery procedure, I have experienced some pretty serious and unpleasant side effects in the 3 months since the surgery and I feel I was not told that any of these after effects could happen, and was not given any specific instructions regarding foods to eat or avoid upon my discharge from the hospital.

Had been seeing PS's, was nice to see my provider this last time. Also, very thankful that my new PA did a complete pelvic exam when going in for a routine post-op exam. May have saved my life.

I would have liked the provider to show more concern about my father's concern about Mom's condition. A hand on the shoulder or some other tenderness may have been appropriate when discussing starting hospice for Mom, instead of treating the disease as my Dad had hoped could be done.

I felt this visit was a waste of a co-pay. She had her mind set prior to seeing me - a waste of mine & her time.

I am grateful that she has taken the care to become a surgeon to help women with conditions that are life threatening. But I would feel better if she got back to me about concerns about before surgery.

[...] I had a dialogue with my doctor and she listened to what I had to say and we came to a decision that was satisfactory for both of us. I did not feel like I was pushed into a decision but I felt like I had a grasp and I say in my care.

Dr. Bondurant was very informative and understanding of my needs and concerns. She eased much of my anxiety about surgery, and I am confident in her abilities to remove my cyst!
