Philosophy of Care
I became a family medicine doctor because I enjoy getting to know the entire family. It’s quite an amazing privilege to see life at every stage: Everyone from the newborn baby, to the pregnant mom, to the grandmother with chronic issues. I love being there as my patients go through life and as they achieve important milestones.

I’m interested in preventive care for the entire family, from newborns to adolescents and adults. I also provide state-of-the-art treatments for my patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. And, since it’s a large component of my practice, I focus on all stages of maternal health — before, during, and after the pregnancy.
Of course, making time for my own family (I have two young sons) is something I strive to do while balancing a busy schedule. And I love being outdoors, hiking when the weather cooperates.
Patient Ratings and Comments
The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.
