Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

The jury is still out on Erhardts wait-n-see approach. He didn't seem like a not caring person, and he actually seemed like a great guy. He just didn't give me alot to chew on. I even got words of encouragement. And I definitely dont want to sound like i wanted unneeded medication. I just feel as though the meet up with Dr Erhardt was a bit rushed. It felt like the complications of my issue, and ways to deal with it, werent explored deeply enough. I got a mini-brochure from the audiologist i saw right before him. Speaking of which, All of his staff from his front desk, to his nurses, to that audiologist, [...], were actually really great, professional, and caring. I actually really like the indepth way Dr [...] went over my issues. If anything, i got more out of my encounter with her than anything. I just dont know yet if this helped. I was, however, encouraged that my issue will become more manageable...if not possibly go away all together. I just wished i had spent more time with Erhardt/OR that he seemed a bit more invested. I whould have loved to at-least been given a possible follow up date. 3 months down the line, im sure my perspective will be different. [...]

I just feel he did not really give me answers to hearing loss. Normal hearing loss. Pay more attention to people when they are talking is the correct answer. No answer for why I can not hear TV without turning up real loud

He did not deliver to my expectation as a ENT surgeon and specialist.Secondly my first visit he told me i will have surgery and all of a sudden he sarted telling me stories and without any precribtion

all good

Nothing but the best which is what I expect from this provider and all Providence providers.

I was most impressed with the MD's willingness to spend time with me to get all the relevant information needed for the correct treatment. His decisions on which investigative procedures to use was based upon my input to the problem. He also "ASKED" for my permission before performing said procedures. His communication skills were some of the best I have encountered.

I like Dr. Erhardt very much; he's personable and friendly as well as knowledgeable, and you feel like you're his only patient while you are with him.

Did not appear to be aware of some of the issues that might impact my condition. [...]

all good
