Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

The doctor inserted liquid then tubes down my nose without much explanation prior to doing it. Only after the liquid was inserted and she left the room did I realize it was to numb the area. Only while viewing the pictures did I realize the tubes were cameras. All of the care was necessary. I just wish all steps had been clearly explained to me before they happened so I could mentally prepare myself.

Had to wait in the outer office for my follow up paper work on this day which was unusual.

Dr. Farid is one of the best physicians I've experienced (and I've been to quite a few for my husband and myself) I only wish she COULD be my primary care. She knows what she's doing, is very easy to understand.

Dr. Farid is an amazing doctor and is someone I trust with the care of my ears, nose, and throat. If I have any issues with any of these areas she is and will be my first call for information or care. Her level of care and love of what she does really shows in just how she interacts with others.

Toward end of visit, I said "I have a question" & she said "you need to go to your PCP for that". I looked puzzled since she did not know the nature of the question yet. She then asked "OK what is it?" The question related to the sinus & connection to brain. She answered it.

I don't believe I've had a bad experience Providence

doctors focus was on one particular problem, when that problem was ruled out there was no further discussion on what the symptoms might be pointing to, very single focused, zero eye contact and less than zero real patient interest (terrible bedside manner)...

I found Dr. Farid polite, considerate, knowledgeable, thorough. It was a relief to have her expertise.

Doctor Farid is probably the most considerate doctor I have ever had. Outstanding concern for her patients.
