Philosophy of Care

I love getting to know patients on a long-term basis. I also see myself as a bit of a teacher because knowledge is truly the key to helping patients take charge of their health. I’m happy to help patients explore all the answers to their questions and find the right plan of care that works for them.

Medical Interests

I’m interested in a range of wellness areas such as annual checkups, obstetrics care, screenings and problems related to women’s health. I like to make sure my patients have the practical knowledge to take better care of themselves, so I do things like teach them to perform self-exams. I also take a great interest in our community because I often guide patients to other resources that may help them with their personal issues.

Personal Interests

I’m very close to my four grown daughters, so I love to spend as much time with them as they’ll let me! I also have a passion for horseback riding.

Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

She always listens to what I ask and will go out of their way to help me.

I have been seeing Bev Huddleston for 12 years now. she has always been an excellent provider. She spends an appropriate amount of time with me, it's never rushed. she explains things clearly and always answers questions. The only thing I have been disappointed with is that she couldn't deliver my babies being a nurse practitioner. Dr. [...] did. My OB appointments with dr [...] always felt rushed, although I felt the care was great and she is a wonderful doctor. I just wish she wasn't so over booked.

pelvic exam was extremely uncomfortable, I will never see this provider again.

It was my first visit to the Women's Center and I was very pleased with the care.

Love Bev! She is always so kind, and makes sure to give the best care possible. Yearly paps are not something to look forward to, but she makes them comfortable and our talks are always pleasant!

The office is often busy and the doctor runs late (I was told this happens when I requested her to be my doctor) but the staff was attentive.

She is excellent!

always have a good visit when at the women's center

Beverly listened to everything I had to say and was very respectful of me.

the lock on the bathroom door in waitimg room was broken and there was no sign on the door stating th at it was broken. so my husband went to use the bathroom and was walked in on by a lady. after he left the restroomtthe receptionist laughed at him. and still did not place a sign or check the door lock. I find this to be extremely rude and disrespectful and am concidering changing clto anothe clinic. I do not feel comfortable in an office where I feel like they do not care or respect privacy of both my husband and myself. we have decided to go back for one more appointment before making the final decision to change or not.

I feel as though she blew off my concerns & did not listen to my statements about my health & minimized my concerns regarding my pregnancy. I usually expect a more thorough approach from nurse practitioners.

My care provider worked to resolve my problem with a good attitude.
