    Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

I will be finding care elsewhere. This provider was not adequately concerned for my daughter's health.

    Feels rushed at appointments.

Health concerns were properly addressed. This provider just doesn't make us feel as comfortable as others.

Can seems grouchy. I understand we all have bad days, but have been to office 4 times in last 4 months and she has the same demeanor.

The experience (check up for our 9 mo old) felt impersonal, like we were another number. Previous doctors we had in a other state walked us through growth charts, upcoming milestones, sleep and eating habits, etc. But Dr. Icenogle did not provide any of that information proactively. When asking her questions she would answer some but mainly referred us to a website (which did not have the information needed).

Dr. Icenogle is an excellent pediatrician and very knowledgeable. However, her staff is lacking follow up on her notes and conveying her information back to the patient/patient's parent(s).

[…] needed her 4 year old shots. She can clearly understand English and the nurse or doc didn't bother to direct the S word to me. The nurse placed the 2 needles right in front of […] so she's completely freaking out at this point. […] clearly told me from walking in the door that she did not like this place. I told her we needed to give them a chance before we make that decision. From the receptionists, to the gal that took our information, to the doctor and to the nurse I am not impressed with this location. […]

Dr. Icenogle is our trusted doctor. She has come to know us over the years and is one of the most competent physicians I have ever know.

Deborah Icenogle is the worst Pediatrcian we've had our son see and we won't be going back to her after two terrible visits. She's rude, condescending, judgmental and has zero kindness when talking with our son. She's made no effort to get to know him or us and makes rude comments. It's extremely disappointing that she's part of the Providence group as we've come to expect a high level of care and compassion of which Dr. Icenogle has none. My son has never been nervous about seeing a doctor until her and thankfully has the ability to understand that she's not the norm and that we'll move on to a Pediatrcian who will meet our needs. […]

Dr. Icenogle was very rude, condescending. [...] We will not be coming back to this office due to her remarks!!!!!!

Seems to be irritated when I (mom) ask questions.
