Philosophy of Care
As a child, I often accompanied my grandmother (who was a traditional midwife) on visits to patients and was fascinated by her work and passion. That’s why I became an OB-GYN.
Every time I deliver a baby, I’m holding the future in my hands, and no matter what time of day it happens, it brings me great joy. It’s the most precious privilege a physician can have.
Medical Degree, University of Zimbabwe
Master's in Public Health from Loma Linda University, California
Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C
I like to make sure my patients understand and access their electronic medical records so they’re in control of their own health destiny. Our patients can look at their bills and test results, or communicate with us anytime they wish. On the flip side, it makes it easy for me to see their treatment history with multiple providers instead of sifting through a mountain of paper.
I particularly love the strong family values I find in my community, so I love meeting new people here. I also enjoy spending time near the water when I can.
Patient Ratings and Comments
The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.
