I was able to be referred (on the same day) to the Kettle Falls clinic when my physician was not available. Phone assistance was great & staff at Kettle were excellent.

Kerry Micheals was a okay doctor, but had to switch Doctors due to a problem with getting my gastric disease medicine - due to the nurse [...]. [...] wasn't very helpful with my insurance and writing authorization. I had to see a new Doctor in Colville and he had my prescription authorized in less than an hour. Kerry's nurse [...] couldn't authorize my medication properly and told me I had to contact the insurance and do it myself. My doctor and Colville wrote my insurance a report of my condition, and I was immediately authorized. I felt I didn't get treated right with Kerry Micheals and his nurse in Kettle Falls (I wasn't important enough or they didn't have the time of the day) and was left to fix my own medical problem. I couldn't eat thanksgiving because I was in so much pain all week. I've been told I might have ulcers. [...] told me "She tried, but gave up and it was up to me, or to go by the medicine over the counter.' I'm on disability and didn't have the money. My new doctor thought this was bogus because of my medical conditions. [...] just gave up and sent me on my way. I was very disappointed. I could of just went to Colville doctors and saved myself from a week and half of miserable burning and pain.

Came in for possible broken rib(s). Did no examination, was sent to [...] or Xrays, he told me to go right away so he could get results since it was a Friday. I was in a lot of pain and when I got there they informed me that he hadn't ordered any special order that he would get results on the following Monday. I told them please get them to him as soon as possible. Nurse called afternoon and told me nothing broken, I asked her what I should do for care. Went thru weekend taking 4 Advil every 4 hours and applying ice as directed. Called Monday still in a lot of pain and asking if dr actually saw xrays, they said yes. Asked for pain medication, called back later in day and said dr would call in 800 mgs prescription ibuprofen, I told them i was already doing that, I was crying, she told me to just settle down. I will NEVER go to this clinic again [...]

the nurse and p.a. asked if i wanted a flu shot. i had a flu shot 4 days earlier. it was not in the system. when i called the colville clinic to ask why they said it was in the system and that no one would have asked me about flu shot since it was in the system. p.a. spent about 1 min in the room and referred me to a specialist who could not see me for 2 months and i was leaving the country soon.

Excellent provider. Knows his stuff yet not an egotist like so many docs. The problem, which is not his fault, is the short time (20 min) allocated to each patient. If the patient has a "shopping list" of things, Kerry does not have sufficient time to address them. Only on the annual "wellness" visit do you have quality time to discuss your issues. I would recommend Kerry to anybody; I have more faith in him than I do with people who have MD after their name.
