Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

Sometimes I feel I am being rushed out of the exam room, or Dr. Miranda is not willing to spend enough time with me so I can get answers to questions I may have. If I perhaps have more than one health issue to present, I have been told I can address only one problem for each visit. This was told to me by another doctor before I started seeing Dr. Miranda.

the only trouble with providence family medical in spokane valley is when I refill my ambien cr 6.25 mg. costco tells me that the faxed the refill request twice showing me the time and date. pfm-sv indicates that they do not get the request. five days later i need to raise holy heck about it, then it is ordered.

This doctor is replacing my regular physician who has retired. This is the fourth different doctor I have seen in my last four visits. I thought the process was rather cold in impersonal. Efficient, but a bit aloof. I do like having my test results available on line when they are available.

Dr Miranda is a good doctor. It took me almost 9 month before she was here. Some prior doctors at clinic were no help at all.

My new dr. is so much better than my last (Dr. [...]). I'm also glad it's a new nurse, my last one was horrible, but I noticed she still works in the building.

Lots of medication issues Dr. Miranda and Dr. [...] tried numerous scripts. I have had to go to more natural methods that work a little but I still deal with a lot of pain and sleepless nights because they can't prescribe a lot of meds but its OK I just deal with it the best I can. [...] Providence is awesome. Thanks.

We were 10 minutes late due to getting lost. However, they made time to see me. I thought this was very helpful as I require family members to assist me getting to the office.

My husband and I had appoints one after the other. When we got there, there was only one for my husband. Our doctor's nurse gave me an appointment for the next day. It worked out well.

[...] I waited 30 minutes in the waiting area and another 30 min. in the exam room so I waited one hour before seeing Dr. Miranda. when she entered the room she flew in ask a few questions, listened to my heart bent both knees, told me to point where my back hurts I did not feel like she was listening to me and all of 5 minutes later Good bye! Never had eye contact with me once. [...]

[…] I felt the whole appt. was a little disorganized and took too long but think it was because she was new and running late. I felt rushed and yet did a lot of waiting. I thought she forgot the blood test she said she was going to order but to my surprise, when I looked on "My Chart" I found where it was ordered along with others, I didn't know about. […] I love that service but if a person didn't use it like I do and as thoroughly they wouldn't know they were supposed to get these tests done. I have gone for one test and found out I had a bunch more scheduled and wasn't fasting or prepared for them. All in all I expect things to go better with my next visit in a month.
