Philosophy of Care

I very much enjoy teaching and discussing the underlying causes of a particular medical problem with patients. This allows the patient to better understand how the various options for therapy work, and helps them to be informed and in charge of their own health care.

Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

Can't say enough good things about this Dr and her nurse. She was friendly, caring, patient, funny, put me at ease, didn't rush me .... The list goes on and on. VERY happy I found this care team!!! (I recently moved here from Minneapolis, MN)

She failed to understand the concern I had when making the appointment. She had to ask others to get information on how to handle a symptom of the problem I was experiencing, although I already had that information. I got more useful information from Google searches before the appointment.

Glad to find a GYN that cares for new patients as much as she did.

There has always been a 35-50min wait to see my doctor. I just had a 3pm doctor appt and I saw the doctor at 3:50. Unacceptable.
