Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

I switched to providence from another provider and I couldn't e happier about my decision. I had an ultrasound and was really concerned about what I saw. I emailed carol on MyChart 3 hours after the ultrasound was complete asking her for the results as soon as possible. Her nurse got back to me in less than 30 minutes saying she went over the results with the midwife on staff and the baby is just fine. Not only was my first visit to Carol's office everything I could have hoped for in a healthcare provider, it provided me with a remarkable sense confidence in my health care provider. I am very impressed with the exemplary level of care I have received in my short time being a patient of Carol Neely's.

This visit was a group appointment and so my provider was speaking to the group as a whole and gave very basic information. She went over a handout about the healthcare included for a pregnancy. It seemed she was trying to fit in as much education about all the healthcare required for a pregnancy as she could for those who didn't know anything and might not come back. I didn't feel she went over the immediate decisions we had to make enough and there wasn't any time for questions. I was very disappointed in the group setting; no one seemed comfortable and now I won't be able to discuss questions about my pregnancy until my 15th week of pregnancy. Even though my provider did pull each woman aside for a moment of individual attention I did not feel as though I could ask questions and discuss concerns since other women were waiting to be seen. I also felt rushed into deciding whether or not to do genetic testing. I do not feel this is the fault of the provider, it seemed she was very knowledgeable and friendly, but rather a fault of the group setting. I am very hesitant about continuing with providence for my healthcare during my pregnancy if this is an indication of the personalization that Providence provides for their patients. I do not know that I would recommend Providence midwives to my friends. I am trying to reserve any final judgements until my next appointment, but so far I am rather disappointed.

i would recommend Carol to anyone looking for someone to help them through pregnancy. she has been amazing through this whole experience. I just hope she's the midwife on call when I actually go in to labor. but all other midwives we've seen have been amazing as well.

I absolutely loved Carol Neely, ARNP, CNM. It was my first time seeing her. Two of my friends recommended her to me. She was amazing! She was very thorough with provding information to me and was very helpful with answering all of my questions as a first time OB patient. I really value her respect for my requests. Carol Neely, ARNP was not pushy about any of the decisions my husband and I chose.

Carol Neely is great! Also- the medical assistant [...] that helps facilitate centering is fantastic as well!

Carol Neely was amazing. Patient and sweet.

[...] This doctor was very helpful in alleviating my concerns and offering solutions to the symptoms that were still bothering me.
