Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Nisco and his staff from the receptionist, nurse, practice coordinator and others we met in the office and hospital.Going through a cancer diagnosis is hard but Dr. Nisco and his staff were there for my wife and I threw the whole experience. Helping with any questions or concerns we had and making a bad point in our lives a lot better and easier to get through. We would recommend Dr. Nisco and his staff to anyone needing the expertise of a thoracic surgeon.

I was referred to this provider by another in your organization and had not met him previously. The meeting was scheduled appropriately, within an acceptable time frame and was handled professionally by all staff members.

Everything was very good - except Dr. Nisco was about 50 min. late for our appointment. He said he was reviewing my records.
