I was an intern, resident and fellow in Hematology/Oncology at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina under the auspices of the Clinical Investigator Pathway, and did additional cancer research in the Department of Cell Biology, for which I earned the American Society of Clinical Oncology Young Investigator Award. 

I was chosen as one of “America’s Top Oncologists” in 2007 and again in 2011.
