Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

Dr. Simmerman is great and always very helpful.

I have a rare skin ds and a lot of pain from it. It has been a challenge to get provider to take me seriously and help with my pain. He has provided some help. Could be better, since still hurting a lot. Otherwise great doc.

Dr. Simmerman was very personable & likeable - very pleasant visit to establish care.

Dr. Simmerman is excellent. We are blessed he is our son's doctor.

The doctors we see are always great, very helpful caring ans knowledgeable. if i based my visit on the front office staff i wiuld not stay with this office. I have had had an issue almost eberytime i have had to talk to the office. i have gotten wrong information and was treated very poorly by them.

Our last visit was very good. My grandson [...] was comfortable with his examine. Had a flu shot - nurse was awesome.

I was not a fan of Dr. Simmerman's nurse. I do not feel she relates well with children. She comes off a bit brash, lacked a sense of nurturing, and seemed uncomfortable. The whole experience felt very uncomfortable for myself and my son.

We love our provider Dr. Brian Simmerman. My kids all love him.

I wasn't pleased with how I was taken back to the room. [...] has a twin and I was the only one there at the time. I was the last appointment and I was not allowed any time to fill out the paper work for the appointment. And I had to fill out paperwork for both kids. No one seemed to care, they just went about their duties and at the end the doctor had to wait until it was filled out. I was just irritated with the nurse, because she was just trying to get through her stuff she needed to do.

Brian Simmerman is always attentive and very aware of my [...]condition. He has always been very helpful and understanding of my needs.

Dr. Simmerman is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He was quick and to the point but made sure we understand everything that he did and said.

Brian Simmerman is very professional and personable He listens to any needs that we have and is sure to explain what is going on and makes sure that we understand what he has told us. The office staff needs serious improvement, they are often rude. It is difficult to get appointments for immediate needs such as an illness or injury. We stay with this practice because of Brian and [...]. I actually dread calling the office to get an appointment because I have to speak with someone at the front desk and it's usually a frustrating experience.

Brian Simmerman is always very friendly and answers all of my questions, I will wait for an appointment just so that my daughter can see him.

Dr. Brian Simmerman is very personable and professional. [...]

We have been under Brian Simmerman's care (along with other doctors through the years) for 15+ years (and three kiddos). The various physicians have always been great...but Dr.Simmerman has been our most consistent care provider and he has been outstanding. Always consistent in his very caring and very competent approach - I have always felt like my children were in excellent hands. I am truly grateful for this relationship through the years!

I really enjoyed my care giver experience. I didn't have such a pleasant experience with the first nurse I talked to. I called about 3 days before I made an appmt to as a question, and the nurse didn't seem to listen to me- it's like she knew the answer before I opened my mouth. I gave her some of my ideas of what could be going on with my son, and she made me feel as if I didn't know anything. Also, when I walk into an office, it's appropriate to be greeted by the receptionist- and the valley office is HORRIBLE at it. I went in for something […], and I stood in front of the desk waiting for at least 45 seconds before anyone even LOOKED at me. wow. The least they can do is acknowledge I'm there and say "Hi! I'll be with you in just a moment"... or what not.

Brian simmerman is a very good well mannored caring provider. I trust what he says and am confident with him caring for my children

Dr Brian Simmermen is the best pediatrician I have ever taken my children to. I hope to always be able to go to him. He is truly the best.
