I’m trained in osteopathic medicine, which focuses on innovative ways the body can help heal itself when its systems are working optimally. Studying osteopathic medicine has helped give me a broader view into my patients, specifically, how their family dynamics and lifestyle habits affect their overall health.
I’m also very interested in helping patients become more aware of their family’s medical history. I often help my patients learn the best ways to ask sensitive or difficult questions of their family members. But since family history plays such an important role in medical care, I believe it’s important for me as a physician to guide my patients to learn all they can.
