I had just been to the ER the night before my appt. definitely had some concerns about what was going on and this ws not even addressed. When I asked about a certain supplement got a rather flip answer. Felt like I was a "bother" rather than an valued patient. It took almost 12 days to get my blood work results. Was not a positive experience. Felt like my concerns were not at all important or addressed, I have been going here for a long time, referred several friends and family in the past but my past several visits have felt like I was not "heard" .

Good solid conventional medical provider but does not think outside the box, individualize care, or offer specific help in certain situations. For instance, she says "You need to lose weight" but does not offer interventions or assistance with weight loss. [...]; nevertheless, I think she is a good doctor, compassionate and experienced. The community is fortunate to have her.

Sometimes I feel the appt. is a bit rushed. My appt. in Dec. of 2013, I was on time for my appt. but another patient was ahead of me, and so I had to wait to get checked in because there was only one person out front. So when I got back to the exam room I felt I was reprimanded for being late for my appt. but it was not my fault. Thereby by time with the Dr. was cut short and I didn't feel like I got to get my questions answered in a proper manner and only got to talk with the Dr. not more than a few seconds and then got promptly whisked off to the dietician in short order. I left the office not feeling like I got a decent attention even though I was charged a good deal of money for that appt. The next appt. in Jan. was slightly better and so I felt a little better. Also that first appt. in Dec. when I made the appt. the scheduler didn't save out enough time for the appt. because I had to have a few things checked on.[...]

DR Summers, who I have seen for over 19 years seemed distracted and not concerned with my overall well being. This is the first time I have to say I was disappointed with my appointment. It seemed she wanted me in and out as soon as possible. Normally there is small conversation about my family and my overall health, that wasn't the case for this appointment.

I really like Dr. Summers but she always seems to be running late from previous patients so when she comes in to see me I feel hurried. The front desk had asked me to fill out a questionnaire before I saw Dr. Summers and she was in such a hurry that she didn't even look at things on my list. She of course is very thorough with my previous ailments and always follows through on them but anything new that has cropped up that I would like to talk to her about, there just isn't enough time.

When the provider is only allowed a certain amount of minutes for each appointment and you have more questions than that time allows ...... it's frustrating to have to leave and make another appointment instead of getting it all done at once ..... & costly 😣. this was never the case before .
