Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

Terry is an amazing nurse. She listens thoughtfully and gives smart, easy to understand explanations for her medical impressions. I appreciated her willingness to change her initial prescription recommendation, when I told her it was a drug I did not want to take. She answered my many questions via My Chart quickly.

No issues.

I see either Terry Schillios or Dr [...] and both are attentive, concerned, and responsive to email through MyChart

Terri always does a thorough exam. I was very impressed that she had read the full reports from my surgeon and cardiologist before coming into the room. She is amazing. Her recommendations for changes have helped my problems

Re: Medical records. For a complete visit, I personally made sure that prior medical records from another provider office were sent 5 days before the visit. At the time of the visit, the records were not available to my provider, but the office had received them. Rather than attempts to locate the faxed records, I was told someone had them to enter them into the computer system, and were therefore not available. The computer system is not the patient, and my provider was missing extremely significant clinical information at the time of my visit. That causes repeat visits, confusion, over testing. Over the last 2 - 3 years, I have seen a significant downgrade in the quality of my interactions with MAs, nurses, NPs and MDs at PMG. Documenting the visit by clicking on data fields, to meet of the billing and record keeping requirements is the focus of the exam, not the history and symptoms that lead to the visit. There is way too much effort to create a legal record, and the patient needs are not addressed. My providers put more time and effort into getting the computer record done correctly, and asking unnecessary questions that are not germane to my situation, rather than actually examining me, looking at me directly, and asking pertinent questions related to my reason for the visit. I like and trust all of my providers, so these comments are directed at the "system" they are forced to work under. I want providers who know me and my ailments, and who think, rather than have a computer tell them what to do next. I do not want impersonal, efficient robots who are masters at data entry.

I was first told I needed to do a urine specimen, which I waited 20 mins. to do, then as I was about to do it, she changed her mind during my pap smear she used an expired test tube and didn't realize until it was over and my clothes were back on she made me get undressed and go through it again.

Very thoughtful and attentive to my concerns.

Terry was extremely helpful and I had to contact her through the email system with a question I forgot to ask. She responded right away and answered my question completely. I would see her again in a second and recommend her to anyone else for care. I was extremely pleased with the care she provided.

I really like Terry. [...]

Ms. Schilios is a wonderful provider that is very attentive to our needs. Since we can't get in to see Dr. [...], Terry is a good replacement.

Experience was average - regular doctor is very seldom there.

Nice, friendly very thorough, great listener.

Terri is very thorough, listens and discusses health issues. I find her extremely knowledgeable and willing to research questions. Very good at patient education. Very thorough. Excellent skills.

[...] gave me her full attention during my appointment. Her diagnostic skills appear to be a blend of intuitive observation and data from my records. I felt very comfortable seeing her for the first time.

I like seeing Terry; she listens and is thorough. But the last two visits have take a long time. For my physical (scheduled for an hour) took 1.45 hours and there were no issues ( I did not even have a pap). For this last visit I think I was scheduled 20 minutes and I at the office for 45. I arrived early and was in the exam room by 7:30. For both appts I made special arrangements to be away from work and had to call the office to ask for more time. While I appreciate how detailed Terry is, is there a way for her to speed things up a bit and or get more information from the front desk as to how long an appointment will take?

Terri is absolutely amazing, always listens, offers excellent advice, is very receptive tp my needs and preferences. I can't recommend her enough

Terry was great!!!

Terry L. Schillios is a wonderful care giver!

Terry was exceptional and went over my blood test results plus answered all my questions. She never acted like she was in a hurry and made sure that all bases were covered before I left.

Because of insurance issues, Terry spent much more time than she should have. I hope no one was inconvenienced, but she certainly helped me.

Very helpful, had good suggestions for the problem.

Staff & doctors were consistently attentive, knowledgeable, competent.

Terry was available, relaxed in her approach. Thorough, knowledgeable, full of clarifying questions, & removed an antibiotic from my treatment plan when she checked & realized I was allergic to it. Very impressive.

Good: Terry was very thorough, much more so than my regular physician. Bad: Waiting time in lobby and exam room were both extremely long. Bad enough in the lobby but not acceptable when sitting on a exam bench in your undershorts for another 1/2 hour before being seen by provider.
