Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

great nursing staff. Doc himself excellent at listening and problem solving, but doesn't learn to know patient as human being before making decisions, for example, I have pain processing issues but he refused mild sedation for a procedure because the America Society of Urologists said it wasn't necessary--penny wise pound and patient foolish

Still seems like referrals take too long to receive. And, when you tell me they normally take longer, that doesn't help me any. I don't care how long they normally take. I just care that it is my first time seeing you and it seems like a long time to me.

Dr. David Ward is the sort of person one would hope all doctors aspire to be. Professional, caring, gentle that can be straight forward and explain undesirable diagnosis with hope for a better outcome. He is exceptional in all respects.
