2011

  • Top Performer on Key Quality Measures: Awarded by The Joint Commission, Providence Centralia Hospital was named one of the nation's top performers on key quality measures. Read more >>
  • Making Medicine Mercury-Free Award: Awarded by Practice Greenhealth, this award designates exceptional efforts to rid the health care sector of harmful chemical mercury, commonly used in medical care. Providence Centralia is one of 12 medical facilities in the United States to win this award in 2011.

2010

  • ADA Annual Recognition: The PCH diabetes self-management education program has been awarded continued recognition from the American Diabetes Association (ADA). The program was originally recognized in April of 2001.
  • SightLife Vision Award: During the second quarter, six individuals from PCH donated corneas, out of the eight who had the potential to do so, a 75 percent conversion rate. SightLife honors hospitals with conversion rates for 70 percent or higher during a single quarter.
  • LIVESTRONG Community Impact Project Award Recipient: Cancer Transitions™ is designed to support, educate and empower people with cancer in the transitional period after treatment is over. The program incorporates support groups, education, nutrition and physical exercise, as well as addressing other medical management, psychosocial and quality of life issues. The program also provides survivors with practical tools and resources to formulate a personal action plan for survivorship beyond their participation in Cancer Transitions

2009

  • Providence Centralia Hospital was honored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for its participation in the National Healthcare Safety Network.
  • Providence Centralia was named the top hospital in the Washington/Montana Region for Clinical Quality.
  • Providence Centralia Hospital consistently receives high scores on accreditation surveys by the Joint Commission, the Washington Department of Health (DOH) and the Washington Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). Providence Centralia has received national recognition for its orthopedic surgeries.

2008

  • Providence Centralia Hospital was awarded the McKesson 2008 VIP Award for vision, innovation and results-driven performance to improve patient safety, quality and efficiency in health care.

2007

  • Providence Centralia Hospital was awarded the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce Evergreen Award for service to the community.
  • Providence Centralia Hospital was awarded the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce Evergreen Award for service to the community.

2006

  • Providence Centralia Hospital was named a CareScience Select Practice Customer Quality Leader in the area of heart care failure.

2003

  • Providence Centralia Hospital became the first health care organization to win the Washington State Quality Award. In 2006, PCH became the first health care organization to win the award twice.
