Do we have a "minimum score" for eligibility?
We have no minimum score expectations other than applicants must have passed Part I and Part II CK of the USMLE or Comlex equivalents within two attempts and pass the USMLE CS or Comlex equivalent on first attempt prior to matching with our program. While we do not have a minimum score expectation we are a highly competitive program and have students with high scores applying.
Do you require osteopathic applicants to take the USMLE steps?
We require DO applicants to take either the USMLE Parts I, II CS and II CK or their Comlex equivalent. Osteopathic applicants do not need to have both.
Are we a competitive program?
Yes, very competitive. We receive approximately 800 applications each year for our seven positions.
Can I apply through the osteopathic match or must I apply through the allopathic match?
No. We require that all applicants, allopathic and osteopathic, to apply through the allopathic match.
Do you have Osteopathic Certified Faculty?
We have an Osteopathic adjunct faculty involved in our program including precepting and in Osteopathic Manipulation Clinics.
What kind of OMM Training do you provide?
Monthly OMM outpatient clinics where a dedicated resident and Osteopathic faculty see patients in conjunction for a one-on-one teaching experience
Monthly OMM outpatient didactics and hands-on lab
Dedicated OMM room with new OMM Hi-Lo table
Exposure to alternative therapies including a core faculty doing acupuncture

Yes we are affiliated with Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, Washington.
