Newly Bereaved Workshop

One-time workshop for adults: “Introduction to understanding the grief process.” Professional counselors discuss what to expect in grief, different styles of grieving and how grief affects families. Open to the community and volunteers.

When: Every third Thursday of the month, 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
Where: Providence Hospice, 2731 Wetmore Ave., Everett

Spouse Loss Drop-In Support Group

Ongoing drop-in support group for those who’ve lost a spouse.

When:
Second and fourth Thursdays of the month, 2 p.m.-3:30 p.m.
Where: Providence Hospice, 2731 Wetmore Avenue, Everett
Cost: Free

Lynnwood Drop-In Support Group

A drop-in support group for adults who have experienced the death of a significant person.

When: 1st & 3rd Mondays, 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Marysville Drop-In Support Group

A drop-in support group for adults who have experienced the death of a significant person.

Children & Teens Services

Standing Together

A program specifically designed for children and teens (grades K-12) who’ve experienced a loss. This is a safe place and time for bereaved children and teens to meet, share and be with others who’ve also lost a loved one. A group for parents meets at the same time. Lunch provided. The program is free, but registration is required.

When: Second Saturday of the month, during the school year, October through June

Camp Erin

Weekend Grief Support Camp for kids and teens (grades K-12). The program is free, but registration is required.

P.S. My Baby Died

Parents who have experienced a miscarriage, stillbirth or newborn death learn to cope and receive support from other parents with similar experiences.

When: Every second Thursday of the month

Stroke

Stroke Support Group

The Stroke Support Group is specifically designed to offer you and your caregivers, family and friends the opportunity to talk with other stroke survivors and learn how to make the most life after stroke. We know you have many questions. This group is lead by fellow stroke survivors who offer insights into what they have learned and helpful tips they have gained, all in an open and friendly environment. Nationally recognized, free support group for women suffering from postpartum depression. 24-hour phone support only. Call toll free (888) 404-7763.


Sleep Apnea

Awake

Support group for individuals with obstructive sleep apnea. Learn how to stay more alert and energetic during the day. Open to patients, family, friends and anyone who needs more information on sleep problems.
