Pharmacy Residency Program Overview

The PRMCE PGY-1 pharmacy residency program builds on Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD.) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training.

  • Residents are part of interdisciplinary healthcare teams and they will participate in multiple clinical committees.

  • Residents will have the opportunity to participate in a longitudinal ambulatory care experience, and they will also be involved in our program that helps patient successfully manage their medication changes as they transition between acute and ambulatory care environments.
