Published August 25, 2014
Did you know there are over 100 women on the streets of Snohomish County who engage in prostitution and are victims of sex trafficking? Peoria Home Project is here to help.
Peoria Home, along with support from other local organizations, will offer services to help women rebuild their lives. The two-year program will include drug and alcohol treatment, counseling, medical care, dental care, as well as life skills and job training. Peoria Home is modeled after the very successful Magdalene Program in Nashville, TN who has grown from one house to six houses, offering help to women on the streets.
To contribute to Peoria Home please consider attending their Beacon of Hope dinner and auction. Please click here to register or go to www.peoriahome.org for more information about this non-profit organization.
