Try out the new voice recognition phone system

Our new and improved voice recognition phone system went live on Wednesday, Dec. 16 and has already helped ease the way of so many. Our hospital is a busy environment with consistently high volumes— including our phone system. This new system gives people who call PRMCE the ability to self-direct who or where they would like to be transferred to simply by speaking.
The phone system is loaded with names and departments that people commonly call for. If the system doesn't not recognize who the caller is trying to reach they will be instantly be forwarded to a telecomm operator. You can try the new system out by pressing "0" from any Providence phone.
Good work to the operations team who worked on this new system to help support our hardworking telecomm caregivers and help us care for our patients and caregivers in a more efficient manner.
