Published January 12, 2015
Inside Out, the original organ show, is a unique presentation has toured many schools in Snohomish County and continues to teach pre-teens, teens and adults about the adverse effects substance abuse has on the human body.
Today, January 12, the Inside Out organ show will be presenting at Providence Colby Campus in the Rainier Conference Room in the Medical Office Building from from 11:00-1:00 p.m.
We invite all caregivers to stop in and watch this amazing show with real organs such as hearts, lungs, brains, livers, kidneys and aortas. Some organs are healthy, while others have been damaged by substance abuse, tobacco, and other unhealthy behaviors. Through the presentation viewers can ask questions and see first-hand what really happens to the inside of their bodies.
You can also learn about the upward trend with pre-teen/teen drugs usage and accidental poisonings in Snohomish County and what you can do as a parent or adult to help stop it.
