Providence Nurse, Carla Norris, Graduates from Western Washington University's First RN-to-BSN Cohort

You've heard the saying it takes a village, and it certainly does in health care. Many villages, actually, all working together towards the same cause-- caring for their community. Part of working together provides opportunity for growth, learning and continued education.
Carla Norris and her daughter, Carrie Holtrop took it upon themselves to earn their Bachelor's in Nursing from Western Washington University and on Dec. 13, graduated as the first cohort through the program that started last fall. “This program is really looking at the future of nursing and the future of leaders in nursing,” Norris said.
