Chaplain Michael Sullivan Retires from Providence

Published January 5, 2015

Michael Sullivan

Please join us Wednesday, January 7 as we say farewell to Chaplain Michael Sullivan as he retires from Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

Mike has ministered as a chaplain at Providence for 13 years, primarily in Critical Care and the Emergency Department. Mike has enjoyed a rich and varied work life, including being a Catholic Parish Priest in Seattle and Mercer Island and then served as an Instructor and Spiritual Director at St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore, Maryland. After priesthood, he enjoyed a 20 year career in business banking and international trade finance with the Bank of America in Seattle and Portland before returning to his first love, ministry.

Mike is married and has two grown daughters and two grandchildren.  Mike loves baseball, working in his yard and firmly believes there is nothing like a well struck golf ball to replenish one’s spirit and hope.

Please join us to honor thank and say farewell to Mike on Wednesday, January 7 from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. in the Cascade Room in the Medical Office Building.
