Message from Providence security: Protect your car from theft
Published July 13, 2015
Over the past month, Providence Regional Medical Center has been experiencing an increase of stolen mid 90’s Honda vehicles from the Colby campus. In discussing the issue with Everett Police, they indicate we are not necessarily being targeted as many locations in North Everett are experiencing similar incidents. In some cases, the suspects appear to have keys that open and operate the vehicles. If you own a mid 90’s Honda vehicle, you are advised to purchase a club to lock your steering wheel. These devices are the most cost effective way to ensure your vehicle will not be stolen. They are available from most auto parts stores for approximately $25.
Security asks that you report any questionable activity in the garages and parking areas immediately by using the blue lighted Emergency Boxes or by calling security after you’ve safely entered your vehicle.
