Senior Leaders Volunteer at HopeWorks, Creating Healthier Communities
Published on June 2, 2014
On May 19, the Senior Leadership Team volunteered to do interior painting at HopeWorks, a division of Housing Hope. HopeWorks provides a platform for economic opportunity. Through job training and education, individuals move from inadequate family incomes toward livable wage careers.
Preston Simmons, chief executive officer for Providence Health & Services--Northwest Washington, encourages all caregivers to volunteer in the community with family and friends. "Projects like this are a great way to help with creating healthier communities in partnership with other organizations. It's a rewarding experience."
