Jan Williamson retires after 30 years of service

Published June 1, 2015

Jan Williamson

Help us celebrate Jan Williamson on Thursday, June 11 at her retirement party after serving at Providence for 30 years. In her time at Providence, Jan worked 15 years in the Medical Oncology unit before moving to the IS department as a clinical analyst, supporting the computer programs nurses use.

Jan's depth of knowledge of Providence Regional Medical Center in both nursing and informatics will be missed! She's known for being able to answer nearly any questions about workflow and the electronic health system. On top of being an expert in what she does, Jan also has a wonderful sense of humor and always goes the extra mile to support her team mates, colleagues and customers.

In retirement, Jan plans on training her Goodendoodle pup, Jack, to be a therapy dog and make weekly visits to areas hospitals. She also plans on volunteering for hiking trail repairs with Washington Trails Association and getting caught up on her home projects.
