Randi Haugen

Instead of the traditional retirement party, Randi’s colleagues engaged in a fun questionnaire so we all can get to know Randi a bit more before she leaves for her next adventure:

Question: What’s the one activity you are most looking forward to?

Answer: I want to take little road trips around Washington, and then long road trips all over the US.

Question: What will you miss the most about being a Providence care provider?

Answer: I will miss my co-workers and other staff members that I have worked with on the floors, and even helping visitors that are lost.

Question: What’s your favorite Providence memory?

Answer: My favorite memory was seeing the smile on one of our special needs volunteer’s faces when I gave her a Christmas present at our party.

Question: What hobbies will you start?

Answer: My hobby will be to paint a lot of ceramic Christmas houses and churches for our daughters and grandchildren. I know I will go for walks every day to get exercise.

Question: Any final thoughts?

Answer: I will miss everyone but this is a new chapter in my life and I am anxious to get started. I have worked all my life, from picking strawberries to working the snack bar at a drive-in theater to working here. It will be a big change.

Thank you, Randi for your many years of dedicated service!
