Radiology appreciation week
Published November 9, 2015
Help us celebrate National Radiologic Technology week, recognized each year during the month of November, the month that German physicist Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen discovered x-ray in 1895. This event recognizes the many contributions radiologic technologists have given to the field of radiology.
In conjunction with National Radiologic Technology week, our department has chosen to recognize all radiology employees the week of November 8 within multiple departments whose experience, expertise and vital roles all come together to deliver a world-class radiology service. We officially celebrate "Radiology Appreciation Week" in honor of these valuable contributions.
Staffed by more than 200 employees, collectively Providence Medical Imaging departments perform more than 165,000 procedures annually. Many of our staff have worked here for more than 10 years and have witnessed the growth of the department and rapid advancements in technology. We truly consider our radiology department to be one of the most technological advanced in the nation, as well as truly committed to unparallel patient care.
The department invites everyone to support "Radiology Appreciation Week" by thanking a radiology employee you come in contact with this week for their dedication to our patients, their consummate professionalism and commitment to delivering the highest service available.
