Appearance Policy Reminder for Halloween Attire

Published October 27, 2014

With Halloween approaching on Friday, you may have questions about wearing costumes to work. While simple costumes are allowed on Halloween, clothing and footwear must remain appropriate for staff members’ work duties and setting. This means no costumes that may frighten, upset or offend patients, families or colleagues.

Caregivers wearing costumes should still follow the general guidelines in the Providence Regional Medical Center and Providence Medical Group Appearance Policies.

This means:

  • No jeans
  • Footwear appropriate for the work area
  • No theatrical makeup or face painting
  • No hair colors that are not found in nature
  • Only simple, conservative adornments or accessories
Thank you!
