LaShonda Bryant, RN, receives DAISY Award for being an extraordinary nurse
Published October 5, 2015
LaShonda Bryant, float pool RN, was awarded the DAISY Award in September. She was nominated by another RN for her extreme attention to detail and care for her patients. LaShonda took the time to assess a patient and found a birth defect that other caregivers had not seen. Not only is she incredibly skilled, she also took the time to educate those around her.
LaShonda’s nominator said, “I learned so much from her that day. She is always on the top of her game no matter what unit she is on. She’s willing to lend a hand and is an incredibly skilled RN.”
The DAISY Award started in 1999 and is awarded to nurses that go above and beyond excellent patient care and show immense kindness and compassion. Learn more about The DAISY Award here.
