Janice Jones Retires After 30 Years of Service
Published September 15, 2014
Janice began her Providence career at Pacific Campus working in the Pain Clinic for eleven years until it was closed during the down-sizing in the 80’s. She then transitioned to the Pain Control Center for six years to manage VIVUS. When she returned to Providence nineteen years ago, she worked as the night shift Administrative Supervisor. She especially enjoyed the team work and support of the Night Shift staff. After her husband passed away unexpectedly in 2005, she began working the day shift.
Janice has enjoyed being a Providence employee because of the wonderful people here and knows she will miss her Providence friends. She is looking forward traveling, photography, and being with her family. She is certain that change is constant and Janice is looking forward to new adventures. And as a vivid fan, she adds, “Yea Seahawks!!!!”
Please join us to celebrate Janice on Monday, September 22 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. in the 13th Street Conference Room.
